Easter Activities in Miami

Easter is just around the corner and there are so many exciting things happening in Miami to celebrate this fun-filled holiday. From bunny meet-and-greets and egg hunts to brunches and Easter dinners, there’s something for everyone in Miami this year!

For a free Easter egg hunt, head to Pelican Community Park in Sunny Isles Beach. The event costs nothing and kids can have a blast hunting for 3,000 colorful eggs.

Eggstravaganza Egg Drop Contest

The Easter season is here and there are lots of theme-based activities for the whole family to enjoy. Whether you prefer a traditional egg hunt or something a little more novel, Miami has it all!

One of the most popular events for kids this time of year is the Eggstravaganza Egg Drop Contest. This annual event is held before the actual Easter weekend so it is a good way for kids to get in the spirit of the holiday before it actually starts.

Children are encouraged to bring their own egg-related creative skills as they compete for first place and a prize at the Eggstravaganza competition. They’ll use a variety of materials, including straws, balloons, popsicle sticks and plastic cups to build “egg armor” that can protect their eggs from falling from varying heights.

Participants will be challenged to design and construct their egg armor in an hour. The designs will be judged in three categories: creativity, weight and survivability.

Some of the most successful egg armor designs include a balloon raft meant to cushion the fall and a cup filled with popsicle stick splinters designed to absorb the impact of the drop. Others have used different materials to create their egg armor, such as a combination of yarn and glue that can withstand a variety of impacts.

Aside from egg dropping, the event also features a petting zoo, pony rides and other fun activities. Visitors can also take photos with the Easter Bunny and buy treats from vendors.

The Eggstravaganza Egg Drop Contest is a very popular event that happens every year in miami. This is a great way to spend time with the family and let your kids explore their creativity.

During the event, children will have the chance to catch eggs that are dropped from a 50 foot ladder and then use their creativity and ingenuity to make cradles or parachutes that will help them protect their egg as it falls. The contest is a great way for children to bond with their parents as they compete for a prize and make new memories.
